Any Optomotrists or Optimologists Out There?

I was just curious about something.  These ZMF-II Clocks, which most online stores seems to cover in Color or Black with either Red, Green, or Blue LED Display (I was at a tournament and saw one or two clocks with White LED and Yellow LED, but have yet to see a store that carries either of these).

Are there any eye specialists that would know when it comes to LED display (like the clock in your bedroom), is Red, Green, or Blue any better or worse for the eyes than the either of the other two colors, or are they all the same?  Also, would a Goldish-Yellow or Off-White be any better (if these two ever showed up in stores)?

And why the f has this been moved from General Discussion to Off Topic?  This is a Chess Website, is it not?  We're talking chess clocks!  How the f is this off topic?

This looks like it was probably done in error (mistakes happen).  I've moved it back to "General Chess Discussion" for you.

Red LED display on an alarm is the best. It doesn't interfere with your sleep patterns.

Supposedly the easiest color combo to see is black on yellow. Do clocks come in that coloration?

Conflagration_Planet

Don't know.
