Hi I need some basic instruction. Nowhere near the level of needing a Chess Coach for $100-$200 per hour. Just someone a little farther than me. I am probably rated something like 1200 if I really focus. I wanted to see if anyone is interested in doing Skype lessons. Payment via PayPal. Let me know.

If you don't get a coach in this thread, you can always got to learn, and check online coaching. They have a list of coaches there.

Play Comp 4, it would get you around 1700

Meet Your Sensei, didn't we just play like 20 min ago, lol? The problem is this...I can keep playing but I only get incrementally better without some training. Like with sports, you need to do some training, you can't just play all the time. And unfortunately, while I know you can teach yourself my concentration gets in the way.

I'm definitely not as qualified as a master, but I also can coach for much cheaper than one :).

Let me know if you're still looking for a coach via skype, and good luck with your improvement!

Actually, it looks like we played a game in 2012. Here's the link. http://www.chess.com/livechess/game?id=357088188

I think I've improved a bit since then, so I could probably help you do the same. Actually, I'd be willing to give you a free hour even if you decide to go with someone else (although if you'd give me a review + feedback I'd appreciate it :) )

You can have a free lesson from me to see how it goes and if you like my style Smile
