Any tips to reach 2000?

I’m currently 1500 would appreciate if anyone would give me tips. I’m a tactic heavy player as most of my wins on this acc and my other one (deleted) are from tactics.

Tactics, mistakes and good ole fashioned blunders decide games at our level.
Cut back on those things and progress will come.

Depends on the time control, but basically learn one opening for white and a few with black (to be able to play properly against any kind of approach from white). Then focus on what plans and strategies the openings you chose have. Be aware of piece activity, use your moves in an intelligent way in order not to lose tempos... and the most important things: review in depth the games you lose, so you dont make the same mistakes in future games. That's the problem right there. Don't focus on achieving a number. Just do what you got to do, and you'll be where you deserve to really be. If you try to focus on reaching 2000, you are already limiting that as your end goal and the process to get there would be much more manipulated than organic. Just enjoy the game and let that passion take you wherever you deserve to be
