Cricket is a sport but I would hesitate to consider the players necessarily athletic.
Are chess players athletes?

Okay, you've made a thread asking a follow-up to something you thought was a totally stupid question, and even though you've dismissed it as nonsense in the first post, you still made this thread. Yeah good going, college.

You can lay in bed, blinking out your moves as you play in your head.
Makes bowling look like a decathlon.

Hopefully the OP can make numerous useless consecutive posts to something he deems is a ridiculous question, as he did in the alluded sport thread.

Oh, what would you deem a stupid question, then? Perhaps something like this: http://www.chess.com/forum/view/livechess/can-you-lose-rating-points-with-a-win

Because you did something truly idiotic whilst belittling others as idiots, and as such someone has to pick up the torch and proclaim your idiocy. It's the tacit rule of the internet.

Dude, come on, you know this is a totally useless thread. Just apologise to us all and promise never to put such rubbish on these boards again, and we can all move on.

I'll share some of my candied almonds. I made them with cinammon and paprika, and they're crunchy, sweet, and spicy.
Since a growing body of disturbed individuals claim chess is a sport i'd like to take it to the next level and ask the next obvious question on this rickety ladder: Do you consider chess players to be athletes? This is not a troll question as I've been having and listening to others debate this nonsense for decades. What say you chess.com?
