Hello Can. Please advice what to play as black against white's King's Indian fianchetto bishop.

Can, please also advice what to play as black against white's Catalan opening. All my questions are for 1300 to 2200 elo.

Can is King's Indian defense setup the recommended way to play as black against white's queenside fianchetto bishop?

1. Can, in a game analysis using an engine when the engine gives a score of say 0.0, does it mean the present state of the game is at 0.0 or does it mean that the most likely future state of the game is also at 0.0? In other words, what does the engine score represent - the present state of white versus black or the present and the upcoming likely future states of white versus black?

2. I have had strange situations in which during analysis, I was at was at dead even with my opponent after I played a move and literally after my opponent played his obvious best move, the score changed show me losing. So in this case what did the engine score represent - the present state of things or the future state of things? Doesn't engine score by definition represent the likely future state of things? If so, how can it change drastically with the immediate foreseeable obvious best move? If so, what exactly does an engine score represent?

Is it called an engine score? When looking at the where the white and black pieces are placed, is it called "state" of the board or is it called positions of white and black? What are the chess terminology that are used?
