I've found out about some places in Atl for chess on IG, there is one place called The Anguished Barber on Peachtree, but it looks like Monday is there main chess night. Maybe try the Atlanta Chess Club in Roswell also. Woodruff Park too, used to hear about that spot. Good luck, hope this helps
