I premoved. Then I decided I didn't want to. I would wait to see what my opponent did. I  can't un-pre move. It's a 10 minute game. 5 minutes left for both of us. plenty of chess to be played. I click back on the square I pre-moved from, to undo it? no. re-premove. Now I definitely have a move on the board I don't want. Maybe I can turn off pre-move in settings and it will be okay? No, when I click on settings, I go to a different page, I lose track of my game. I still can't find it. I probably auto resigned or something because your stupid, most popular chess website in the world is trash.

The user interface is obviously not the first priority. Plenty of ads for things I don't care about. Why do I have to abandon my game to change whether or not I can premove? Why can't people un-premove. I'm running windows 11. my internet connection might suck but that is not the issue. Is your website about playing chess or selling chess? It's not user friendly. There are currently millions of people on your website putting up with this kind of garbage only because you CURRENTLY have the most traffic.

I can tell you 20 reasons off the top of my head WHY chess.com does not deserve to have that distinction. and maybe 4 reasons why it does. and 2 of those reasons are problems that li chess has.

This morning my phone froze. My internet disconnected. So my game on the chess.com app auto abandoned. ok that happens. then guess what. I couldn't go back. I couldn't do anything on the app except stare at the already abandoned game. that's it. So I got on my laptop. 4 games in more bullshit. And it's like it's always a brand new kind of situation with chess.com.

The same exact feeling for a brand new reason. Somehow I KNOW that the assholes who bought this site.

Don't know how to play ches.

Aren't attempting to learn.

Therefor do not understand the IMMENSE needs I'm sure your engineering team is facing 24/7.
Probably are not investing adequately in upgrading your servers

Do not prioritize customer/user service.

DO WONDER all the time how they can make more money from this site, what with all its popularity and such,,,

ARE slowly crippling the UI functionality to they point where I'm about tostop playing chess on this website now and be much happier for it. I'm sorry your website is so trash. Is there anything you can do about it?
