Bad behavior

Hi!

I played today a game against a guy here in chess.com.

The game was drawish before my opponent made some mistakes in the endgame and I eventually had a winning advantage.

But then, when my opponent made the final blunder, he/she (propably he) stopped playing and started saying things like "you are a cheater" and "people like you should be shot" and "you are a c#cksucker". I have never cheated on any chess game and never will cheat. Finally, II won on time.

I dont post my opponents name because I have heard that you could get banned for that (Is this true?), but I can post it and the games url if someone could tell me it is "legal"Tongue Out

Thanks for reading!Smile

Disable chat, trust me, you're time on chess.com will be more enjoyable.

You were right not to "name and shame".  You wouldn't be banned but the post would be removed and you'd get a warning.  Easiest thing to do?  Just block the culprit and move on with your life.  You can of course report him and if you have a screen shot of the offensive dialogue then staff might do something.  Chances are if it's a first offense he'll just get a warning so the question for you is it worth your time and energy to pursue this?  If yes, here's the link:

Welcome to the internet my Friend.

He was just expressing his butthurt over losing the game.  If I had a nickel every time someone created a new thread about rude comments like this, I'd have, like, a lot of nickels.
