better way of seeing third puzzle:
Bad Chess Bots #164

better way of seeing bottom text:
The next game will be Z-A vs High Elo. Let me explain what both of the bots are.
Z-A (Plays White): Gets all legal moves, sorts them in alphabetical order, then picks the last one.
High Elo (Plays Black): Gets the lichess database, and chooses the moves with the highest average elo from the people that played the opening. If the position does not exist in the database, play a random move.
Comment 1-0 if you think Weighted Popular will win, 1/2-1/2 if you think Weighted Popular and Gifter will draw, and 0-1 if you think Gifter will win.

This is the one-hundred sixty fourth round of a chessbot series. We have 2 Bots competing. We will do one game a day until there is just 1 player left. These will be uploaded at around 9PM EET Daily. Also, the bottom 2 players that aren't tied with people outside of the bottom 2 will be eliminated.
Extra feature: Predict the result of the next game! At the end of posts put this point I will show the 2 players for the next game so that you can vote on who you think will win by using the 1-0, 1/2-1/2 or 0-1 emojis! The people with the most points and people with the most accurate votes (people with 5 or higher votes will be prioritized and people with less will get a (?) next to the accuracy,) (if there is a tie if accuracy, the person with the most points is prioritized and the other way around). will be put on a leaderboard. The full list will be on the spreadsheet linked below. I will be voting too so you can see if you are beating me or not! (if you vote multiple times, only your first vote will be counted.)

I have to introduce a new rule just for this chess series. The 100 move rule. If both sides have been playing for 100 moves and neither side has won, drew, or lost, the game is automatically a draw. This is to prevent games taking too long.
Weighted Popular (Plays White): Gets the lichess database, finds the position, and then weighs the chance of playing that move by see the percentage of players in that position that played that move (e.g a move that was played 20% of the time will have a 20% chance of being played.). If the position doesn't exist within the database, play a random move.
Gifter (Plays Black): Puts as many of its pieces so that they can be captured by a piece of lower value and/or undefended.
