I know right? I seriously wasn't expecting to actually get checkmate. Fun fact: I actually got it 2nd try when i tried to do scholar's mate. The only problem of my 1st checkmate was that it didn't even go to my game history, so I spent so long trying to get the same checkmate and then after i did actually game review it so it would go to my history ;-;
Hi everyone!
A few weeks/days ago I beat the Maximum bot with checkmate. I'm a beginner myself, but I just... beat it, I guess.
What I did was spam Scholars mate (literally) until it blundered. When it wouldn't blunder, I would just abort the game.
Eventually it blundered 3rd move I got checkmate 4th move. It's in my game history if anyone wants to check!
Also the reason I even attempted to beat the Maximum bot with scholars mate and not even study any openings (. Vienna or smth) is because I saw a video on yt posted by Croissant of him beating the Maximum bot with scholars mate - it seemed to work so I tried it.
I hope this helps anyone who's trying to beat the Maximum bot easily!
