Folks u are missing the point. When u look up archives after the game is completed , it shows u the final rating of the opponent after the game. So perhaps he might have beaten a 1500 who's rating dropped to 1300 after losing to this guy

263 is a big strength difference regardless. It’s basically an intermediate player vs advanced player. I’m pleased to beat anybody +25 points above. I cannot imagine the thrill of beating 200+ points.

the guy is not going to drop 200 points in a game unless he has played only one or two games in total. and if you bother reading the threads, he climbed to 1500 well after this loss and was in the 1300s when the game took place.
