Best is Stockfish - next best are Komodo and Houdini

But sometimes Komodo, and sometimes Houdini, find better moves than Stockfish so it is best to use all three in, say, correspondence chess on ICCF or LSS

Found a further update. Komodo 11.2 has breached the 3400 mark at 3418.

StockFish 9 comes out soon.
