Best chess engine for mac ?

Hi everyone  ! My name is Chris and I'm a new player  I started playing chess in April on another site and am now at a 1550 elo more or less. I love this game and would love to improve my game !

I've made a few research to find good softwares for training but i am not sure wich one to pick.

Apparently HIARCS, for exemple, is really good.

 I would be okay with paying for a program, but i dont know wich one would suit me best.

What do you guys think is the best option for me? Or is there a definitive best chess training software for Mac?

Any suggestion or opinion would be greatly appreciated

In the same position.  For Mac, the major options seem to be:

• Stockfish which is a little feature-poor in terms of interface
• Shredder / Deep Shredder
• Hiarcs
• Chessbase Online

I'm leaning towards Hiarcs myself.
