Best chess software for Mac OS?

Yo, dudes.  I'm looking to buy new chess software for engine use/game analysis/database management that is compatible with the Apple OS.  Is there anything you guys would recommend?  My main priority is being able to efficiently filter through a games database and consistently add new games played (by both me and important top level theoretical games).  Most engines nowadays are more than capable so I'm not worried as much about engine ELO or any of that.  

Any advice would be appreciated.

I ended buying HIARCS chess explorer for Mac, couldn't be more satisfied.  Great program with solid support, really no need for chessbase.  I highly recommend it!
