Reaching 1000 is all about wiring and training your brain to see obvious blunders of both sides by continuously analysing what the each moves of my side and opponent's side does, seeing what is opponent's best response after choosing a move.
•During the game, make sure either analyze the position on your turn or constantly check what everything each move from both sides does. Constantly look for weaknesses of both sides when playing and after you have chosen your move find it for opponent.
•Play more and more games. You need to develop board vision, intution and pattern recognition which the more you constantly play, more it develops.
•Always analyze your games and check for mistakes in your play and thought process, not just the game
As a 1500 elo player, we all start as a beginner before, even grandmaster. Some tips that I wish I knew before is to focus on minimizing blunders other than attacking tactical plan. Below 1000 elo, many players makes blunders , and those blunders is mostly hanging blunders not a tactical blunders. Therefore focusing on minimizing blunders and spotting blunders is more important than brutal chess tactics and strategies. If you need help with anything I can provide you a youtube playlist full of chess tips that I used to reach 1500 elo from 200 elo in 1 year 8 months
