I saw an article saying that Agon was going to offer chess sites a widget showing the live moves with computer analysis for free. The widget would also link to a premium site offering live GM commentary and a VR camera feed and other features for $15.

where is the widget?
We are not live streaming the WCC -- we are hosting the relay widget, and chat during the game, and a recap and analysis show after wards.
Don't waste your $15, the site is screwing up royally and very frustrating, won't let me watch any camera and the moves are blinking in and out so I cannot even analyze the position without getting a headache. Really crappy.
Even the Widget of World Chess / Agon does not work... what a bunch of losers.

There are serious technical problems with the WCC broadcast, unfortunately. We'll do the best we can to get our end working, but we can't do anything about the source. 
Even the app of World Chess does not work... these cave men are ridiculous.

Yes I paid for wcc broadcast to see the players but it does not work. Now it seems Agon has ordered ddos for some websites showing the games. C24 just went down and been down for 10 minutes. Cannot be coincidence.

At http://nyc2016.fide.com I can at least see the full board with pieces jumping between current and starting position all the time.
At chess.com/tv I only see the board from row 5.5 to 8 with the same behavior.
unless you have to actually see the players in video, then chess24 is a great option. Dont get mad at me, chess.com....
it is a bit busy on the site, but watching the livestream on youtube is working fine
We do not currently have a good game chat for this.
We're working on it, but a lot of the problems are not on our end.
