Yeah, I think sometimes sudden boost in rating is quite normal. I too was struggling just to get to 2300 before and idk what happened yesterday, I just couldn't lose and broke into the 2400s with ease. I guess sometimes chess gods do descend down to bless upon us mortals.

A low rated player can get their rating up very easily. If you look at me, on my stats when I was rated 600 you could my rating rocketing up.
I was struggling at 600 to 700 then played again and again. You just get better at it
its normal like i got from 500 to 635 in just a month
3-2 months ago: ~260- struggling to get better
1 month ago: reached 300-
~3 weeks ago: got lucky and reached 335
12 days ago: 300
8 days ago: 360
4 days ago: 380
Today: 426
Is this normal? That’s up by ~130 in 12 days just to put this into perspective. That’s like 11 elo gained per day, and up ~75 a week. It’s just so strange seeing it go up so quick after having an elo between 230 and 270 for what felt like an eternity. I was just wondering if other people had this experience of suddenly being blessed by chess gods and improving incredibly quickly and unexpectedly after months with little to no improvement.
