Not sure what your point is or where you're trying to get.
However, your brain is like a muscle, if you don't use it, it atrophies. So if you're not playing chess for a while your brain is going to have a harder and slower time recognizing chess patterns than it used to when you were playing frequently. Like any other sport (or activity, for that matter), if you don't practice for a long time you get rusty and perform worse. But with a bit of practice you can get back to your old levels, assuming you have the physical/brain condition to do so.
Every time months passed since my last game, I lose about 80% of the games, and after a few games I win about 50% of them. This alone proves that to earn or lose many points when you have a long time to play is simply wrong.
