OPEN SPACES
In open spaces bishops are better because they can move around and eventually they can trap the knight
CONGESTED SPACES
In congested areas knights are better because they can move around for nothing is in a hurry and since the area is congested and for nothing is in a hurry there are less squares for the bishop to move to for the knight can eventually win/trap the bishop
