Bishop always until you have a bishop stuck somewhere or pinned, but otherwise bishops cover more distance , and are considered better than knights in endgames, like the bishop pairs are very good, that's why every big player tells us to not to trade bishops in exchange for knights
On closed games, Knight.
On open games, Bishop.

Even this is too general. It's not bad for a rule of thumb, but there are many counterexamples.
The only good answer is "It depends on the position", given by a few guys already. Everything else is just nonsense.

2 Bishops are defiantly better than 2 Knights but 1 bishop vs 1 knight I think knight is better cause it can go to every square while Bishop can not
I posted this when i started chess, but now I know how it work
