Blind Games.
If u don t choose theoretical complications, and no time limit, it s easy to pass those initial moves, worse is the middlegame.
Thats awesome that you play some blindfold games Smartattack. I am a fan of blindfold chess myself. The first time i played it was in 1998 on a coach-bus on the way to a chess tournament(which i ended up winning!)! I played against a much stronger opponent that me, he was rated around 1900 and at the time i was rated something like 1400-1500. We played 2 games, a game in the colle and one in the budapest. I was white for colle and black for buda. I remember winning one game after my opponent forgot about an attack on a diagonal and the other game i am not too sure, i think it was a draw. I want to play it more often but nobody ever seems willing to play. Anyone i suggest it to they reply 'are you mad?'.
An FM who taught me some years ago put on a great display one night at a chess club i was a member of. He played 3 blindfold games with clocks. His 3 opponents had a board and pieces on front of them too! he won all 3 games.
