blindfold chess setting

Hi Everyone, lately I've become interested in blindfold chess. I was wondering if I could play or practice blindfold chess here at chess.com. Is there a computer engine/program or a blindfold chess setting I can click on to activate this? If you know how to do this or if this option even exists I'd love to know, thanks.

You could just post your moves in a thread. Of course you have to trust that the other person isn't using a board, but that's true in any case.

Well, if he wants to practice blindfold chess, it doesn't necessarily matter if the other person is using a board.

I know that I can just post my moves in a thread, but that takes too long & is too troublesome and if my opponent is using a board or not isn't the point. I mean if I read a chess game from a book without use of a board that could also be considered "blindfold chess". What I would like to know is if there's some kind of application, setting or engine that allows you to play blindfold in real time here at chess.com? Thanks.

Chessmaster X has a feature called blindfold-mode. I haven't tried it but I suppose it works similarly to the screen-boards used at Amber.

My personal preference to practising blindfold is usually on long car- or train-rides when I take my Saitek board with me and can't be bothered to set up the pieces.
