Blitz chess question

I was thinking of something related to blitz chess where you can take your opponents king if they are in check. Let’s say you are in check but instead of dealing with the check you mate your opponent, who wins?

You cannot “mate” your opponent as you say. You cannot make a move and after you do you are still in check.

So the opponent that was false mated would just claim an illegal move?

+1, in OTB blitz , you win if ur opponent play illegal move. In online blitz, you cant play illegal move cos GUI doesnt all u.
