We leave in a reality of present life,  where time is money and everything is speeding up like it or not.

So unless you are a professional, blitz is the way to go from a practical point.

An everyday life you most likely need speed skills to play chess , friend, stranger, chess hustler no one wants or they simply cant afford to play 1 hour game , most likely it will be under 20 minutes quick game.

So blitz is they way to go,plus if you are good at blitz you Wil be good enough in rapid.

And the most useless is bullet chess . You are becoming worse player by playing it , you don't learn much, plus it's useless in real world against other people from a practical point. Also professionals don't play bullet, there's no bullet world championship like rapid or blitz.

Bullet only for fun if you have the time and energy and even then it's better to play blitz.

I agree. Also i want to say that the skills between 1500-1800 is about the same. I just got to 1800, and I can lose any day to 1500 or win against 1800

I'm not talking professionals here

Let's say you are 1600 blitz on this site , what you can't beat your friend at home if you are playing without clock just casual game? Of course you can if he's just a casual player and never plays chess on chess.com . See thats my point you still will demolish him in a casual rapid game even tho you are blitz player.

No, because it has a lot of time factor in it. I think time controls like 15|10 are the best, maybe 10|5 if you have less time. But even bullet players can beat their friend at home if they are not playing regurarly…. For fun, blitz is OK.

Yeah I have nothing against rapid controls I think they are great and second best after blitz , but in real life situations you are not going to play like 45 minutes game, most likely it's a pub coffee shop or maybe a friend working somewhere while he or she has like 10 minute free time to play a game or just some new player at work or something there's no way he's going to sit and wait for you like 5 minutes on each move he will get bored and leave so you need to destroy him quick showing him speed and skills at the same time.

In real life games are usually quick where people expect speed and skills from your game that's my point.

Bullet no good because you might loose your patience playing casual games which is like 10 or 20 minutes , because of bullet you might have weak stamina, loose your patience, move fast randomly and loose to even weaker opponent, and even if you win it will be hard to adjust to a slow game.

Blitz chess is the best because you are still good at bullet OR a rapid game and relatively similar stenght. Only downside you won't be good at classical chess and your skill level will be completely different but in everyday life situations no one is going to play classical chess with you anyway.
