Block Timewasters

I'm just sat here as the person I'm playing has decided to run down the clock and make no moves since I will capture his queen on the next move.  There are about 23 minutes to go to the end of the game.  I do always block  people after they do this to me...ie those that refuse to move after its obvious they are going to lose but I still seem to get to play plenty more of them.

Wouldn't it be best if we all blocked them   and then chess.com reviews and then bans people who have been blocked by sen 10 opponents? Its making me think twice about playing 30 minute games,  which is is a pity as its my favourite form of chess at the moment.

If someone is stalling, then the best thing to do is to report the user.  Stalling is prohibited per the site rules.

Ok,  thanks.  I will.  I generally just block but that doesn't stop everybody else from suffering the same fate and there seem to be so many of these people that just blocking them will not solve the problem even for me.  So , yes, in future I will report and the more people that do that, the better the game will be,  if it's actioned on.

I don’t know what “actions are taken” once they find that the reported account is guilty for stalling but I have reported for this multiple times and most of the time I’ll get a message saying that action has been taken. So defiantly report them because chess.com is pretty good about looking into it.

First time warning, then you get put into the poor sports pool, and repeat offences then result in a ban
