Play Winning Chess is the first book in a 5 or 6 book series. They're all good. Maybe try "Winning Chess Tactics" next?

Hello everyone, I'm rated at 1333 after 38 games in Rapid (I've played chess for a while but recently got back into it) and am after some book recommendations. Currently I'm reading "Play Winning Chess" by Yasser Seirawan and I feel like it's helped me improve already. I personally am fascinated by middle game strategy and building 'plans'; something I would say I'm weak at. Cheers.
