bot difficulty? did they get harder?

Nelson used to feel super easy. Last week I beat Nelson 20x in a row. Now it’s hard to beat him. Am I simply tired or did the bots get more difficult?
Yes. I regularly beat Wendy and I cannot win today. I had to go back a level and beat Nelson and it gave me a 2100 rating?! What is happening? 🤯

Kestrickspence, thanks for the reply. I was getting frustrated. I know I play worse when I’m tired but not that much worse. Haha 😂
I got 10 hours of sleep last night so I am wide awake but still losing my ass. I hope it is corrected soon. I have no idea which bot to play now that the levels appear to not correlate to skill. It is a bot insurrection. 🤖🤺
In fairness, the rating before didn't seem to correlate to anything sensible. I wish they did something like Chessiverse where they actually try to rate them based on Lichess. That still isn't great (obviously FIDE would be better). But at least you know what the rating is based on.
Just played Nelson and defeated him in typical fashion. If there was a problem, it appears to have been reset.
I feel like they have gotten harder. XQC bot just beat me with a 2200 rating in my game. I have been noticing a difficulty spike the last few days and when I saw this crazy ELO, I had to start looking it up to see if I was going crazy. Then I found this post.
They have gotten crazy difficult for me and a coworker. We were both struggling to beat easier bots. He reviewed a game he was rated 2000 to beat Janjay. Her rating was 1800 in his game.
I just played Nelson again… the (1300 bot). He played a 1600 game against my 2150 game.??
wulfenstein1: I played Nelson again just now. Won but did not play well. Got a 2400 rating?! 🤯 Make it make sense. 😵💫
It’s getting easier for me
Thank God someone else is asking this. I thought I was going insane. I play Maria all the time (1000 bot) and was beating her just as often as I was losing. Then about a week ago, I cannot win a single game against her.
way harder. I just lost a game to Nelson (1300) and he played a 2200 game. Something feels wrong if the bot can play 900 elo above its rating lol.
I guess they got tired of people complaining about the bots being overrated. The only problem is that they now have the exact opposite issue! 
Before, I beat all the 1900 elo bots but now I can barely beat a 1500 elo bot. BTW I’m rated 900
