yeah same, but I played against a 2000 bot that played Andersen's (a3), and i saw the entire main theory for andersens, it left the theory at move 3 and blundered a rook

I recently played an 1800 bot who specializes in the Bird opening and on move 2, she left book and blundered a pawn. I have since looked at the Bird and, while considered slightly weak, it seems very playable if White sticks to the script. Why would an 1800 player, who should know her opening's book, leave that script on move 2? Would never happen ITRW. Disappointing, but I do enjoy playing the bots overall because one can pick the level of the challenger...
