Bots stalemating

Real_Biggie_Cheese

I almost beat the Isabel bot before it stalemated me and forced a draw.

Is there a way to circumvent this? I was about to get a queen when the bot's rook kept checking me over and over causing a stalemate.

Perpetual check cannot cause a stalemate but can create a draw by repetition.

But to answer your question......you need to play better to prevent a draw by either method. There are no short cuts in chess.

Real_Biggie_Cheese

thank you, i did mean a repetition draw

also about the play better part, how so? Just get better at chess itself or just get better at endgames?

You asked how you could circumvent your opponent forcing a draw.

The only way to do this is to become a better chess player. You need to practice and play lots of games.

also to help the bots have a certain sets of moves so if u want play like 2 or 3 games against them and learn there movements so u can counter and checkmate them
