(Bugs?) Board-settings & number of lines in Analysis

A few days ago, after what I assume was an update, I noticed the following changes appear to have been implemented:
1) The site now forgets user-selected board/piece custom choices if the page is refreshed (i.e., goes back to defaults green board).
2) In Analysis, the number of engine lines available has dropped from 10 to 5.
-- Were these changes intentional, or have I discovered some bugs?
