If Carlsen see Hikaru,s bullet rating on chess.com He never can beat him!!!!

Wait, have you forgotten that Carlsen is currently the best player in the world (in all three formats)?

I think youre missing the point.  Just being the world champion in all 3 formats, is nothing to having the highest chess.com bullet rating.  Thats what people really work for...thought you knew that.

I know...

Whoever wins the 2016 Candidates tournament will be Carlsen's challenger .  That's not gonna be an easy task but Anand must be the favorite given that he has done it before .

Great comment. I don't know why people are allowed to spread misinformation in the forums like "World Championship 2015" which doesn't even exist. lmao.

A match between Carlsen and Naka currently favours Carlsen due to the long time controls. His boring play is just distasteful to Naka. The more the time controls are shortened, the better for Naks.

Yeah, the current Blitz and Rapid World Champion finds Carlsen's games distasteful... no, wait, what?

I don't think Anand must be the favourite though, he will be 47 in 2016 and my bet would be Caruana. I doubt that the bookies will make Anand the favourite, but that will depend on the results the upcoming months. If Anand plays like in Sinquefield he might have a higher odds than players Caruana and Nakamura.

I'd be surprised if anyone could even make it the full 12 games with Carlsen. I think Carlsen has quite some time left as champion.

And that is the scary part, he still has a lot of years ahead of him.

Nakamura's bad results against Carlsen seem ripe for a "one win pops the distortion field" type of result. I wouldn't be entirely surprised if Nakamura wins at some point against Carlsen in 2015 and then, in 2016-2018 has a roughly even score against him (or at least a little worse, which is what you would expect, given the ratings).

Before 1972, Fischer had never beaten Spassky. Before 1927, Alekhine had never beaten Capa.

Nakamura definitely needs to improve in order to beat Carlsen, but it's not unheard of.

Personally, I think Topalov is the player to beat in the Candidates. I really, really dislike him, but he's been playing consistent, great chess. Watch out for him. Wesley So is probably the weakest player in the field, but he has plenty of time to grow.

I don't hate topalov. People who hate or dislike Topalov (or anyone for that matter) need to get a life.

Yeah but they sure were not 11-0 against with the plus than in this case Carlsen is the youngest of the two, you cannot even argue these results took place when Naka had not reached his peak. The results of Naka against Carlsen are can be more properly compared to those of Shirov against Kasparov

weelll, the fischer comparison thing is a bit innacurrate since we live

in a time when imformation about player and their true strength is

immpossible too hide. also fischer was what 29? and peaking in strength

the time right before their match, where as naka(27-28)might have already peaked, in this age of ever increasing young players

with the record Nakamura has against Carlsen he shouldn't be allowed to challenge Magnus in a World Championship

Classical games: Magnus Carlsen beat Hikaru Nakamura 11 to 0, with 18 draws

That is ugly

Please not Anish Giri. I have a personal vendetta against him since he stole my wife.
