You have to join the US Chess group and they must verify your USCF membership. When I let my USCF membership lapse for a week, once, they booted me. I fixed it instantly, of course.

Ok, so I googled this:

"uscf chess group chess.com"

and it was the first link...

What I'm more interested in is how people manage to find a website, create an account, and post questions in a forum when they don't know how to use google.

Isn't there a huge chance of cheating if USCF or FIDE used chess.com games to calculate "official" ELO ratings?
