Yes you can do that, but you will probably never play a game in which you must promote it to another same colored bishop (and other promotions would make you draw/lose the game instead of win/draw).
can i make my pawns into two of the same coloured square Bishops? when i promote them? i know i can have 9 queens or 10 rooks etc. but i cannot make another king or pawn; but what about two bishops that run on the same squares? is this anywhere in the official rules of chess????
