I don't think so. It expires if they make their next move though.
can i take back a draw offer i made to some one in online chess ?

I thought it expired after a move, but I was playing a game in which I offered a draw. My opponent made at least one more move as did I, after which I found myself in what I believed to be a favorable position. I was excited to play tha game but found the game had been claimed as a draw. It seems the offer did not expire. I am a little perturbed by this as it eliminated me froma tournament. What gives?
Same thing happened to me. I offered a draw on move 20 or so, the opponent made his move. We continued to play on for about 20 more moves and I got my opponent into a mating net. When I logged back on the next day the game was "drawn by agreement."

If a draw offer doesn't expire after the next move it's a server bug and that server should immediately initiate steps to correct the error.
That's completely unforgiveable. That's not chess.
You can't have a player offer a draw, and have his/her opponent decline it, and yet allow that opponent to "keep the draw in their back pocket" that they can whip out and use any time they want. That's unreal.
Is this happening here???
