Can you describe how you actually play chess?

Easy, in the opening, try to play e4, d4 to control the center. Or learn an opening that not much people know about.

May I recommend 1. a4 for white and 1...a5 for black?

Why?

I tend to use my King as a matador's cloak, to lure the enemy into attacking, thus over-extending and setting himself up for an accurate parry followed by a devastating riposte.

When it works, it produces a game that a Master might have played.

When it fails, it produces a game that a chimpanzee might have played.

Here's one of the successes.

That was for Kyril_Chess.
Who likes to play openings not many people know about.
But feel free if you are so inclined.

Then I'd most definitely lose against you. My playstyle pays off a lot, but my weakness is that checks are essentially forced moves for me - if your King is checkable, I lock on.

Not to mention you're also rated 2000.
