Yes, I think you can.
Can you have fun when you keep loosing ?

I dont recall ever loosing a game , I am sure I have never loost one !
Yeah, I get the spelling joke.
Still, Mikhail Tal was once asked about a game he played. He honestly couldn't remember it. Then he was told it was a game he'd lost in the first round. He responded that he tries to forget his first round losses! (He was famous for his bad starts to tournaments.)
I don't care if i lose or not, i just hate making stupid mistakes. If i do everything right, to my gameplan and style, but the other guy runs rings round me i just think wow good game. If i lose to somebody i know i'm a lot better than, that's when i get irritated with myself.

Meh. Just get over it. You're going to hate chess if you can't learn to lose. Most games aren't won. They're either a draw or a loss. It's just a fact of playing. If you can't deal with the fact that even if you're the best in the world you're not going to win the majority of your games chess isn't for you.

How many times will people nitpick on the spelling?
Yes, the OP used the wrong word. Does it really call for page after page of nitpicking????

That should be one question mark.

Chess mirrors the game of life. Losing is integral to both. Except some lose more than others in both chess and life.

I broke my laptop by throwing it due to losing 3 bullet matches in a row, now play on my phone and my rating has gone up 400 rating points.
There's no relevance, just thought you should all know.
I enjoyed chess even when I was losing consistently. I suspect I will lose quite a bit on this site as well, but I have a deep appreciation and love for chess and all its paradoxes and intricacies etc. I just enjoy the game, that being said I also get mad on occasion but I think that hits on the mental/emotional aspect of chess. So to me I guess it has more to do with what you as a person accept as a reward, Are you are playing strictly to win and not enjoying the game itself? I myself enjoy chess win or lose. I sure do hate an obvious blunder though....hope this post makes sense, ive been up late tired from work and about to fall asleep.

Maybe he wanted four answers.
Sometimes it's good to lose. You find motive to try harder and you understand how difficult is to perform consistent. A losing streak it's never funny, it indicates that something goes wrong to the way you think or simple you need to stop play for a while and study tactics, theory, technique, endings or you just need a brake to do thinks out of chess and refresh your appetite.
I heard recently Topalov saying that his secret why performing well it's his absence from training. Unusual explanation but I believe him. After so many years in that level what it matters most is to have a clear mind and experience will do the rest.
