Carlsen, still our lord and saviour

Oh, lord Sven Magnus Øen Carlsen, thou beat the false prophet Sergey Karjakin by using thy glorious powers. Thy feats will forever be remembered. I am not worthy of thy greatness, but thou allowed me to watch how thou obliterated the evil Sergey, and how thou saved us from his boredom

I bestow the title of Draw Master upon thee, a title thou shall forever hold, nobody else will. Because only thou art able of drawing with such elegance, nobody else has ever won, and will never win by drawing so much, and in such a wonderful manner

I forever want to be thy serf, if thou deem me worthy of thy presence.

Karjakin thought he could trick our lord by not attacking, but he was not worthy of the title, and he was punished as the false prophet he is.

Magnus observed my games and learnt THE BRAIN FRY ATTACK.

That Qh6+ was typical.

Here you can learn THE BRAIN FRY ATTACK too:

Not really, the title is open for anyone.  I'm pleased Carlsen won, now he can learn how to make interviews/press conferences bearable.

Well, let's look at the the bright side, people were interested in the press conference the day Carlsen refused to wait. So at least it was entertaining once.

Oh, Draw Master Carlsen please enlighten us by teaching us how to play the Ruy López once and again.

I noticed that Carlsen was always very lovely to the kids that asked questions.

I'm reading the OP and can't help comment to myself - how come OP missed the chance to use the word "obliterateth" - which would have immortalized the thread.

Yes, you can edit it - but we know that it won't be the same.

That's easy!

And that's how you play the Ruy like a true grandmaster.

Sadly, my knowledge of Old English is limited.

I don't think that the word actually existed in Old English... but that form of the verb in the past ending with "th" - definitely is, and would be a match made in heaven with the two words immediately before it in the OP...
