If members had the facility to make wagers though the website it would cause the forums to explode with complaints and bad beat stories and likely prevent the website from operating in several countries including the USA which has strict online gambling regulations and is banned in most if not all states. I don't know the stats but I suspect the highest membership is from the USA so doing anything to jeopardise operations would be far too risky.

The only way to do it would be unofficially 'under the table' like the old days of playing cards in pubs. Perhaps it could be added as a special feature for members who live in countries without online gambling restrictions and can prove they are of gambling age in their territory but it would still be creating the opportunity and incentive to scam and collude.
