Castle

Why does the castle option fail so much? I have had two recent games where the castle has failed on both sides. In one match... the script allowed me to castle after being +'ed and now... I can't castle ,in an ongoing game, after never being +'ed. What's the deal? These two games are trash without this option.

Can you post the games, there is usually an easy explanation.

     Allways castle. Its a defensive manuver.

If it 's the one against SOTC16, the bishop on b5 is preventing your castling. You can't castle through an attacked square.

You cannot castle if your king is currently in check; it does not matter if your king was in check on a previous move.

Aslo your king cannot pass through or into a square that is being attacked.
