Hello there! To castle, you must have a connection between your king and your rook. That means there can not be any pieces in between. and you must not have moved the rook or king you are trying to castle with. now to answer your question. If you want to castle king side, click on the king (or drag the king to the square next to your rook) and then the square next to your rook and it should work! to castle queen side, click on your king and then 2 spaces next to your rook!

I knew how to castle, just couldn't make the computer let me do it! Last nite I was doing exactly what you told me to do and it simply would not let me castle--I tried it many times! So after reading your post I decided to try again today, and voila!, it worked, much to my satisfaction. Thanks much for taking the time to respond,

New here and sorry for a most basic question. I'm playing against the computer and can't figure out how to make the pieces castle. I've tried every way of clicking I can think of but obviously I'm not doing it correctly. Help!
