Unfortunately, no. The .cbv format is ChessBase proprietary, and they do not make mac software.

Unfortunately, and as a mac user, it pains me to say this, you have to use windows for Chess Base, which is the only database program that I've found appealing. Free ones tend to not be so friendly with the eyes, and that distracts me.

I've come to love ExaChess, but alas, its support for Chessbase formats begins and ends with .cbf.
does anybody know a way to open / edit .cbv files on a mac?
I don't wish to create a partition on my HD to install windows and chessbase...
any other workarounds for mac users? Scid is not helping...
