I only offer or accept rematches in bullet. After more exhausting games I prefer to enjoy my win for longer than a couple of seconds. After a loss I also prefer to take a look at my mistakes before moving on to another game.

Recently I beat this guy on lichess 11 times in a row, but he kept sending requests and kept playing stronger. Then suddenly he won a game, then another, and next thing I know the score is 11-15 in his favor. Moral of the story? Don't accept rematches after a winning streak. Just say GG and run.

There was this one guy whom I kept beating and he kept sending me rematch requests, so I got some free points.

He's probably learning from you

He probably learnt your weakness and destroyed you.. you should've stopped accepting rematch when you started loosing

My recipe for success is:

If you lose to a 12-year-old, play an 11-year-old next time.

By the time you've worked your way down to toddlers, you should be unbeatable.

Perhaps that's just what I need.. but the 12yr old wouldn't let me. They keep requesting for rematch
