I thought it was how it was spelled? Or spelt? I don't know anymore!
Spelt is spelled "spelt", spelled is spelled "spelled".

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback so far.
But I was asking for opinions/experience info about age/chess ability, not a childish argument in the comments, so just asking that you stop, regardless of where it originated.
Looks like it's just you and me blitzers. Interesting topic too.
I think it must be very hard to play at the top level as you get older, but probably no reason why you shouldn't play at around 1800 level till you're pretty ancient. Hope so anyway.
GM Bisguier has played 2200+ chess into his eighties:

He was playing close to 2500 til he hit his early sixties. I'm impressed.
Bisguier was one of America's strongest players, but he was eclipsed by Fischer's sensational rise. I get the impession Bisguier is a great guy, though I don't know much about him.
Maybe Batgirl will turn her fine talents to a Bisguier bio someday.
This post was really interesting until the two women changed the post with their silly women bickering.
Humourless and sexist? What a catch!
He's 77. Keep in mind that this was a normal thing to say in his generation. Not defending it, but no need to be rude back. This has only become a socially unacceptable thing to say in the past decade or two.
I think it's really cute that Canadians think they live in a different country
If Anand got a US citizenship, would you call him a Canandian?
Hey look, TheGrobe doesn't know how to spell "humorless"!
Even if there's no humour in you, there's still a "u" in humour.
(This was funnier before I realized that there was still a "u" in humour either way you spell it).
