Well, sometimes I use a slow wi fi and quit against bot and then rematch. By the time the card the says game over, you are the colour that won the previous match, so it says you win. Basically, cheat by pressing start new game against chess.com bot and the press rematch quickly.😁 No one can track that. Plus, you get all the stars. Not allowed but no one can track it.
Cheating vs AI

Here is another way to literally cheat against. Take the two star option, (3 takebacks and hints), and then when you use all three, refresh, and then takeback once more without losing stars. Repeat the process each time you want to do an extra takeback against computer.

That does not work. "Hints" are bugged, they give you some random legal moves. Not something a real engine would play.

Simple way to avoid 99% of cheats? Play Bullet. It takes time to input a move and play the best response, that they won't get.
Bullet is a terrible format for learners.

@HollyFlax As a staff of chess.com, I must say the answer to this is no. Although it hurts nobody, but the practise itself is strictly banned on chess.com. This is because at the end of every game our server examines your game accuracy as well as your opponent and your ratings. If multiple games seem to be suspicious, there will be a staff coming to verify if the player has cheated or not.
If you really want to test out your engine, I suggest you log out of your account first and then play the bot anonymously so that it doesn't affect your account. I hope you find this useful.

I have encountered multiple bullet cheaters @YellowVenom (I believe after enquiring that they use a bot called chessbot that automatically plays moves and the moves are customisable). Anyway, I personally think it is unethical to even cheat against a bot but am not sure about the regulations in this case.
