Does anyone else get a fright from the noise and flashed banner that comes up on check mate? Even when I'm expecting it I jump, if I'm about to execute a mate I hesitate. Is it not possible to have some gentle music and watch the king slowly tumble rather that the flash accompanied by a noise sounding like his head is cut off?
