Chess and alcohol don't mix

tried playing a few times while drunk and i'm really bad, even worse then normal, anyone here play good or better while drunk, I myself seem to shoot pool and play 1st person shooter gmas better but chess is a different story

Bravo! I like your priorities.

I can't do any serious chess study in the evenings: after a pre-dinner glass of wine, I simply don't have the focus to get anything out of it. But the anti-oxidants in the wine keep me healthy enough to study during the day, so it's ok. In fact, I'm contemplating an increase in wine consumption so I'll be even healthier. (The first sentence of this paragraph is fact; the rest is just a convenient excuse for drinking, although an excuse isn't needed for setting such reasonable priorities.)
