I've been browsing the biographies of some prolific modern terrorists, and I've discovered a troubling pattern that shows up again and again.
They seem to really like chess.
2 of the 19 9/11 hijackers played the game, as well as 1 of the two Boston bombers and 1 of the 3 Charlie Hebdo terrorists.
Why do you guys think this is?
There's already a well known link between engineers and terrorism. Perhaps it is the logical people that end up taking the crazy parts of their religion seriously.
