I don't think I'm the best for a Discord coach, but it sounds to me more like you simply need some chess friends 
Simply having a few like-minded chess players as chess.com friends (or friends in real life) helped me a lot because I could always ask them questions. Similarly, chess friends can help motivate you on the life-long journey of chess improvement. If you just need a friend to play unrated live games or chat chess on chess.com sometime, then feel free to add me.
Simply playing a few unrated games and having post-game analysis discussion with stronger players (the game opponent or even someone else higher rated) can be especially useful in correcting mistakes as well as finding improvements in moves, or mindset.

I need a free chess coach, I want to improve my game but don't have the money to afford a coach. The way I can communicate is through Discord DM's. I prefer not to use voice chat to keep distractions away. I am young and am rated 1200. I believe I can make it to at least 2200. The main issue is that I don't know how to draw lessons from my games. I make a mistake, and then I make it again. Chess.com doesn't teach me what I want to learn. That is why I need a coach. Thanks in advance for all your help!
