Chess.com and unregistered players
So what you're saying is, given that unregistered players are being theoretically being jacked around (note I lost points for not playing against myself in the above mentioned game), that Chess.com ratings are totally worthless?
Because of the way that network connections handle errors, its possible to have two connections made very close to the same time with very different performance. You need more than two data points to draw conclusions.
Cellomaster, I can tell you feel weird about paying for something that isn't on the level. If anything, you should reach out to Chess.com and ask them about this, given you pay for the service and seem to agree that the site would be correct in jacking around unregistered players. Have fun bragging about your artificially inflated, and totally worthless, ratings.
1. I am a paying member
2. I can’t solve your problem
3. I don’t have any of your problems.
And no, for me these ratings aren’t inflated since I am 1565 USCF
Maybe it is just me, but does Chess.com have a thing against unregistered players? I've noticed I tend to lose quite a bit on time on an old, unregistered account, in addition to having major "connection problems."

I created a new, unregistered account to test this theory. I logged into the old account, went to play a game and was met with a connection issue. I immediately logged out of that account and into the new one I created, went to play a game and had zero connection issues.
Sounds like total BS, right? I mean why would Chess.com be shady with unregistered accounts?
I'd like to see someone explain this then: I played myself, despite logging out.
