I have the following observation - I don't like a certain starting move and usually I lose or I abort the game directly after the 1st move, I just don't know how to play when my opponent starts like this. Very often wenn I abort the game, then I get in the next game an opponent starting in white doing the same 1st move...and this repeats. I even resign when I cannot abort the game. The record is 6 times in a raw - so I abort/resign and on the next game the opponent is with white doing the same move. How is this possible when playing with real humans? I think I am playing against bots. And I am talking about level 1000. Sometimes I play against really bad players and then comes somebody who is much more superior than me with the similar rating level. This whole is just a cheating platform - from players and from chess.com

Let me guess… e4? 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
Snowy-Yutyrannus
What they play first isn’t really an excuse to call them bots, try to find an opening that can work against that specific move, don’t just leave the game after they play whatever you don’t like
thedelcai

What's the move?

thedelcai

d4? Nf3?

InTheMate

Haha, the smart guys always first to answer, the real grandmasters @BadPlayerEasyToBeat, @Snowy-Yutyrannus...

So this means it happens to U also - 6 games in a row the opponent starts with white doing the same move?

Eloxadrez

Just learn an opening that works. Let me guess the move is ... e4 !

aerefs
Just play it

Pawn f3 @thedelcai

It is not about learning, it is about not playing with humans. There should be an algorithm behind seeing when I abort the game and then setting bots playing against me doing the same move. It is normal that 3-4 games in a row go like this.

I play for fun, don't care about rating, as I said I even lose games when I cancel them. I have no time to sit and learn different openings.

Snowy-Yutyrannus
Don’t just resign after they play it, just watch a YouTube video, practice with a bot, and bam
Snowy-Yutyrannus
What exactly is the issue? Is it the same user doing the same opening because they know nothing else, multiple users doing this?
thereturnofthesnowfox

I do wonder what my opponents thought when I used to open my games 1. a4 or 1...a5.

Your account is a month old. So, at best you are oversensitive and prone to confirmation bias, at worst you are just trolling...the latter is far more likely.

If you are often aborting or resigning games early, you are definitely in the "bad players" pool by now. Stop aborting and resigning and play the games you committed to, and you will magically go back to the regular pool of players...

"Wait, stop right there...I don't play rock-paper-scissors with people that choose scissors...I quit. Let's start a new game. What? Another person playing scissors...?"

See how childish that sounds?

HangingPiecesChomper

funny how diogenesdue accuses others of trolling when he is the troll

This statement is an absurdity. If you can't play against any move 1, you should maybe not play chess.

Not the same user - different users in a row. As I wrote - usually 3-4 times, record is 6 times, my opponent starts with white doing the same move. Even starting some games in a row always with black is strange but what to say about an opponent starting the same way

Why not, I am playing for fun, always giving rematch when the other player wants. I know I am a bad player, therefore I expect to play against similar level players.

This is my 4th or 5th account, it happened always the same. So U think that playing from 3 to 6 games in a row always with black against different opponents starting always with the same move is normal?

You're kidding, right? I can't remember ever seeing f3 as an opening move. You say you've seen it 3 - 6 times in a row four or five times???
